Smart utility vehicle trial#The trial program in the US began in January 2011 with the first customer delivery in Washington, DC. It could also be charged using a common US household 120 V outlet. The lithium-ion battery pack took three hours to charge from 20 to 80 percent of its capacity with a standard 230 V outlet.
